From iron on transfers to professionally created swag, there is no excuse for no good swag

Some of the best ideas are simple ones

I love swag. And I love designing swag. It's a fun and creative exercise for the design team to break away from the daily grind and have some fun.

But not all swag should be t shirts; there are plenty of killer ideas and different things you can swagify.

SoFi swag

Haven't been in the job too long but some options for new swag have dropped already including our Fall 2021 Hackathon tee and an idea around representing something greater than the sum of its parts. #BetterTogether

Hackathon Growth Mine October 2021 written in Minecraft style with pixelated axe, sword and heart — First hackathon and had to get involved with the swag effort. We even recreated the tools pixel by pixel.

Daft Punk with script headline — The theme was right there for the taking to showcase things that are truly #BetterTogether

My last hackathon - wanted to try something a bit different and a bit more retro. Printed really nicely!

My fav swag over the REA journey. We created a lot of different designs including the first foray in to iron-on transfers. All these designs are mine unless noted.

I rock Hack Day — First ever crew t-shirt. Timeless and spot on.

Keep Calm and No Worries — Our first distributed team in China, we wanted a team tee that spanned two cultures

HCAK Innovation Connection — Our first REA Hack Day tee. We love this one.

White tee with Not Violent. Not Silent. — (Not my design) Classic all time tee: designed by the team and all proceeds donated to White Ribbon

My fav swag over the RDC journey. We haven't created too many of these but as a group we have riffed on several ideas. We've also looked at power packs, beanies and flashy socks!

UX sketch tee — We shipped this one in early 2019 as a team tee. Kinda covers what we do nicely.

Upside down backwards text tee — Upside down and backwards is a good conversation starter

No place like home tee — All time favorite sentiment when it comes to 13 years in property

RC UED tee — Oldie but a goodie. 3 letters only work sometimes.

Mona Lisa tee — Didnt end up shipping this one but design is art and the Mona Lisa is *the* art. Love the way 'Design' looks upside down.

Pixel Wizard tee — Nothing says design quite like pixels and the party parrot. Now it's on a tee.

Get Shit Done — Wanted an empowering design with a simple message. Always #GSD

College Tee — A play on College sports swag, with a little madeup latin
